Unparalleled Resale Value

Choosing Lexus means that you’ll receive outstanding resale value. Kelley Blue Book has announced their top choices for vehicles which deliver superior resale value in their respective segments in the Best Resale Value Awards9. In 2025, six individual Lexus models were singled out to receive top honors in their segments, more than any other brand. Lexus also took the top honors, being named Best Luxury Brand. This is in stark contrast to Lincon, which didn’t win a single award. Here are the models that won:

  • 2025 Lexus UX
  • 2025 Lexus NX
  • 2025 Lexus RX
  • 2025 Lexus RZ
  • 2025 Lexus ES
  • 2025 Lexus LS
Lexus RZ

Lexus Electrification Technology

Lexus was the first luxury brand to offer a hybrid vehicle, in the form of an optional drivetrain for the LS. And Lexus has stayed at the cutting edge of practical electrification ever since, including the addition of plug-in hybrid and pure electric models. And modern electrified Lexus vehicles are much more than just a way to save fuel, they offer incredible acceleration, and quiet cabins that are calm and relaxing. Today, Lexus offers 11 different hybrid or electric models, more than double the entire Lincoln lineup. And Lincoln’s electrified lineup is even smaller, at one optional hybrid drivetrain and one optional plug-in hybrid. Here are the electrified Lexus models:

  • Lexus UX Hybrid
  • Lexus NX Hybrid
  • Lexus NX Plug-In Hybrid
  • Lexus RZ (pure electric)
  • Lexus RX Hybrid
  • Lexus RX Plug-In Hybrid
  • Lexus TX Hybrid
  • Lexus TX Plug-In Hybrid
  • Lexus LX Hybrid
  • Lexus ES Hybrid
  • Lexus LS Hybrid
Lexus LC

Full Lineup

Lexus obviously offers quite a few more electrified vehicles than Lincoln, but that’s only a part of the vastly superior Lexus lineup. Lincoln has become an SUV-only brand, offering just four models with not much to distinguish one from another. Even just the Lexus SUV lineup offers more SUV choices than Lincoln, but the fact that Lexus offers other vehicle types at all is a massive advantage. Sedans are still popular with luxury brands, but of the two we’re discussing here, only Lexus offers any. Or maybe you would prefer a coupe, a convertible, or a sports car. Well, Lexus offers all of those, while Lincoln offers none.

Lexus RX Safety Features

Safety

Life-saving safety innovations are included as standard on every Lexus vehicle, helping to highlight the brand’s dedication to engineering the safest vehicles on the road. Found on most Lexus vehicles, the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 and 3.0 systems are the most complete safety systems ever offered by Lexus5. Groundbreaking technologies found in this suite of safety systems include Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Assistance, Pre-Collision System, and Intelligent High-Beam Headlights.

Before you get in your next luxury vehicle, consider one man’s story of getting out of his.

"At 10:27 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, my LS 460 was blindsided by an 18-ton truck traveling at 70 mph. It left no skid marks at the scene. The impact tore the entire front left-wheel assembly off my Lexus, sending it more than 250 yards away, and spun the vehicle into the truck, crushing the rear. Fortunately, the entire cabin was left intact and I walked away without a scratch. Shortly after, I called my Lexus dealer and said, ‘Naturally, I want the same car this time around.6"

J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study

Dependability - Lexus Tops Lincoln in J.D. POWER U.S. VEHICLE DEPENDABILITY STUDYSM (VDS)

An essential component of a positive ownership experience, long-term dependability is always important. Complex engineering and over-the-top technology features may catch the attention of a prospective buyer, but only vehicles with a well-established reputation for long-term durability earn the coveted spot in a buyer’s garage.

Every year, the J.D. Power U.S. Vehicle Dependability StudySM (VDS) measures the number of problems experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100) during the past 12 months by original owners of three-year old vehicles1. In 2025, original owners of 2022 model-year vehicles were asked to report their experience. A lower score reflects higher quality, and the study covers 184 specific problems grouped into nine major vehicle categories.

Lexus remains an outstanding choice when it comes to dependability with a score of 140 PP100. This is a full 62 problems per 100 vehicles lower than the industry average of 190 PP100. Compared to the Lincoln score of 221 PP100, Lexus is the clear winner in terms of dependability.
