Right & Left Turn Oncoming Pedestrian Detection & Braking

If you turn left or right in front of a pedestrian or cyclist, this system will warn you and automatically apply the brakes.

Oncoming Vehicle Detection

This feature augments the existing Pre-Collision System, warning you and automatically applying the brakes when a possible frontal collision is detected.

Even before the 3.0 update, it’s clear that Lexus has been on the cutting edge of development when it comes to safety technology. All of these features work in concert to make your commute safe and stress-free.

Lane Keep Assist

This system can alert you when you begin to drift out of your lane, and it will slightly assist the steering to get you back on track.

Intelligent High Beams

This system will automatically turn on your high beams on dark, clear roads, and automatically turn them off when the system detects the headlights or taillights of other cars.

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

As stated above, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is a staple of the Lexus Safety System+. This system uses cameras and a radar system to maintain a safe following distance from traffic ahead, slowing down and speeding up as necessary based on your preset speed.

This system utilizes a built-in camera to read road signs and display the information on the instrument panel or on a heads-up display.
